ItinInk (“ItinInk”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Platform to do the same. This Copyright Policy explains how we handle copyright concerns and infringement claims on https://itinink.com (the “Platform”).
1. Ownership of Platform Content
All original content on ItinInk, including but not limited to:
- Platform design
- Layout and structure
- Branding and logos
- User interface elements
- Code and software
- Text created by ItinInk
is owned by ItinInk and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, redistribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit any part of the Platform without prior written permission.
2. User-Generated Content
Users may create and publish itineraries and related content.
By submitting content to the Platform, you represent and warrant that you own the content, or you have the necessary rights or permissions to use it.
You agree not to upload content that infringes copyrights, violates trademarks, or uses protected material without authorization.
You are solely responsible for the content you create and publish.
3. Google Maps & Third-Party Content
Maps and place/location data displayed on ItinInk are provided by third-party services such as Google Maps Platform (and may include in-app place thumbnails).
Certain other images, including primary trip cover images, may be sourced from stock photography providers such as Unsplash under applicable licenses. Such third-party content remains the property of Google, Unsplash contributors, or other respective rights holders, is displayed under applicable licensing agreements, and may not be copied, extracted, downloaded, or redistributed by users outside the Platform.
ItinInk does not claim ownership of third-party images or map data.
4. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe content on ItinInk infringes your copyright, send written notice to [email protected].
Your notice must include:
- A description of the copyrighted work
- The exact URL or location of the allegedly infringing material
- Your full name and contact information
- A statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized
- A statement that the information provided is accurate
- A statement that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
Incomplete notices may not be processed.
5. Review & Removal Process
Upon receiving a valid notice, we will review the claim, may remove or disable access to the content, and may notify the user who posted the content.
We reserve the right to remove content without prior notice if we believe it violates copyright laws.
6. Repeat Infringers
Accounts that repeatedly violate copyright rules may be suspended or permanently terminated at our sole discretion.
7. Counter-Notice
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice including identification of the removed content, a statement that you believe removal was a mistake, your contact details, and a statement under good faith belief.
We may restore content if appropriate after review.
